Diagnostic testing and curriculum-based assessments are offered to help parents better understand their child’s strengths and needs. This knowledge and understanding can often help in the development of the most appropriate educational plan.  After an initial consultation, specific assessments will be administered to gain an in-depth understanding of your child’s strengths and needs.

Assessment strategies include:

•   Diagnostic Assessment: Full battery of achievement tests available.
•   Curriculum-Based Measures: Targeting individual academic needs.
•   Progress Monitoring Probes: Provided in conjunction with tutoring and based on child’s individual needs.

These assessments could include diagnostic assessments, curriculum-based measures, progress monitoring probes or a combination of assessments.  Assessments are selected based on a child’s needs in collaboration with parents.
